New guy here, but thought I had something to add, so here goes.

Anthony Dixon - With Frank Gore being out for the season with a fractured hip, Brian Westbrook will be the workhorse back, but Dixon will likely see goal line duties more, or as often as Westbrook from this point on. He is being looked over in most leagues simply because of Westbrook, and if you have a few funds to spare (5-10$) he could be a decent #2 or Flex option.

Jacoby Ford - If your league counts returns yards, well, then this is a guy to look for. Having posted the highest 40 at the combine, he has shown that speed lately. He's now brought back 2 kickoffs for TDs, including the opener from last week, and has also been getting some looks in the offense. Totaling over 800 yards returning, and over 250 yards receiving the last 3 weeks, and a receiving TD, he's a guy with a definite upside going forward (Waiver budget 6-12$).

Maurice Morris - With Jahvid Best still questionable from a stubborn turf toe injury, and with Kevin Smith being put on IR, Maurice Morris has become the main focus in the Lions running game. Last week he was given looks in the red zone twice, and scored TDs both times. The veteran back also shows decent ability to catch the ball out of the backfield, and will likely see 10-15 touches on the ground. Even more upside if your league is PPR (Waiver budget 4-6$). Decent Flex option moving forward.

Honorable Mention - Pierre Thomas - He is likely to return either this week or next week, and I expect him to be hungry, as he is playing for his job at this point. Still the better of the Saint backs at catching screens and such, he could be a breath of fresh air for Saint players in the fantasy department, especially in PPR leagues. Check your league for availability as he has been cut in most league for several weeks (Waiver budget 3-5$).
