Thumbs up My team for 2011-2012

Here is my team in My Yahoo! auction league.

Michael Turner (Atl - RB)
Tom Brady (NE - QB)
Mark Ingram (NO - RB)
Steven Jackson (StL - RB)
Brandon Marshall (Mia - WR)
Jeremy Maclin (Phi - W)
Tim Hightower (Was - RB)
Tony Gonzalez (Atl - TE)
Lee Evans (Bal - WR)
Darren Sproles (NO - RB)
Mikel LeShoure (Det - RB) My IR pick. Sleeper Keeper.
Stevie Johnson (Buf - WR)
Lance Moore (NO - WR)
Pittsburgh (Pit - DEF)
Sebastian Janikowski (Oak - K)
Christopher Ivory (NO - RB) Possible explosion after week 7.

I will be starting:

Tom Brady
Michael Turner
Stephen Jackson
Brandon Marshall
Jeremy Maclin
Stevie Johnson
Tony Gonzalez
Mark Ingram

Lance Moore will move into one of those receiver spots quickly as soon as we know if he is 100%. Sproles is likely going to be my flex starter and Turner/Jackson will be traded, moving Ingram up, assuming no more injuries occur.

Tell me what you think. I don't quite have a No. 1 guy anywhere, minus Brady (Got a trade proposal going for Brees as I type this), but almost all of my guys are gonna see starters minutes. I think I have "Depth".

Don't trade Jackson/Turner. Hightower/Ingram should be your flex. Keep Sproles on the bench.

Team looks very good.

Sproles gave me 27.92 points tonight. Glad I trusted his return game.

Not bad BTW. I did the same thing with Leshoure. That guy is going to be a beast next season.

I think so too. Detroit has needed a RB worth a damn for a long time. I get to keep him for like 2 auction dollars too.

I did and sometimes you just have to go with your gut... and it panned out for him.

Hindsight is 20/20... if I had to do it again, 10 out of 10 times I would have kept Sproles on the bench. You go with the players you feel will have the most touches and scoring opportunites. Ingram had his fair chance to score and Hightower will receive 20 plus touches. Sproles is in a 3 back timeshare and no one could have predicted him taking one back to the house... as that's pretty rare. What is essentially happened here is equivalent to getting beat on the river after being dominated pre and post flop.

If you fail to see the logic behind that, you probably are a terrible fantasy player. He took a risk, it payed off.

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

All little common sense goes a long way.
