QB dilemma...
So, my team is actually doing pretty well. Currently leading my league, but I've been playing musical chairs w/ my QB.
I have Dalton and Tebow on my roster. Hasselbeck is available (maybe not after tomorrow), and his numbers have been pretty consistent. I really like Dalton, and Tebow's fantasy numbers have been hard to ignore. But Dalton is playing against Ravens D this week; Tebow faces Jets D, but on a short week. And Hasselback is facing Atlanta. So, do I stick with Dalton? Gamble with Tebow? Trade one of the two for Hasselbeck? I know it sounds crazy, but I really see Tebow and that unorthodox offense they have been running, giving the jets D fits. But honestly I don't have the kajones to start him Thursday. Thoughts??? |

I'd roll the dice with what you have on your roster currently and not trade for Hasselbeck. Both Dalton and Tebow have a bad match up... but I'll give Tebow the edge for his running abilities. Any other options on the waiver wire?

Thanks Papz, I knew I could count on you for good advice. I ended up passing on hasselbeck, and as suspected someone picked him up. I current do have tebow set to start (still nervous about that).
Only other available qb that intrigues me is Alex Smith, and if not mistaken, that represents the best matchup on paper this week.... |

I actually own Tebow and picked up Alex Smith against Arizona this week. I just figure after getting lit up by the Pats this past week, the Jets D is going to be very very mad. I have Tebow riding pine for Flacco in another league also.

Jets D will be mad, for sure. But I really have absolutely zero faith in Sanchez, and honestly, it looks like he has lost the confidence of his teammates and himself. If it's a close game in the 4th quarter, I would have a ton more confidence in Tebow finding a way to win, as opposed to Sanchez.
I also am struggling with trading Dalton for Smith. I know Dalton has a much tougher schedule for the remainder, but I see him rising to the challenge. Definitely not carrying three QBs on the roster. Maybe I trade Dalton for Smith, and if it doesn't work out hopefully Dalton will still be available next week. |

Sounds like you have an idea of what you want to do... and a solid backup plan if you decide to go the other way.
Good luck. |

I almost did, but I chickened out at the last minute. He'll probably put up 20 in the last 5 minutes....
Good luck! |

18 points in my league. At least he scored more than what he was projected. If only he could it for just two quarters a game, he'd be a monster.
