Decisions, decisions...
OK Papz, got a new dilemma for you. Won my matchup this week, albeit by the skin of my teeth. I'm now at 9-2, leading the league, and have a playoff berth clinched. Still looking for a 1st round bye, and face two tough division opponents over the next two weeks.
So here's my scenario. In week three, my number one pick, Andre Johnson went down. I lost that game as well as the next one, but have managed to win every one since. Fortunately, I have been blessed with a stable of WRs, that have more than picked up the slack for Johnson. Now, I have been running with Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson and Mike Wallace as my primary guys. But now that Johnson is back, I have to sit one of them. My other issue lies at TE. I have both Jimmy Graham and Rob Gronkowski. Over the next few weeks, I will have to sit one of those WRs, as well as one of my TEs. I know it's a good problem to have, but frustrating nonetheless. My initial thoughts are: Sit Johnson one more week (I know it sounds nuts) and see how he fares with Leinart tossing the pill, let it ride with Jennings, Nelson and Wallace; and flip a coin to choose between Graham and Gronks. Any thoughts? Am I missing something obvious here? |

I don't know if you have seen Matt Leinart play before, but he's captain checkdown diminishing Johnson's big play ability. Another reason is that he's fresh off injury and has some rust on him... get a feel how they are going to use him now with Schaub out and let him get his legs back under him. You're also on fire right now and why mess with something that's been working so well until you know what you're actually going to get from Johnson to then make a lineup change.
LUCKY BASTARD!!! Because we're both Saints fans, I'd roll with Graham. Makes it much more exciting when watching the game. I'm pretty jealous of your situation. My first 3 picks on the draft... Adrian Peterson(hurt), Darren McFadden(been hurt for 5 weeks?), and Peyton Hillis(been hurt since the beginning of the year). I'm barely hanging on to a playoff spot and I kind of dislike you right now. =] |

I'd sit Jennings and Gronkowski.
