PHI/NYR & DET/BOS games back-to-back on NBC ... even if the RedWings did get manhandled a little bit by those uncouth bullies from Boston, ... oh well, it's not the size of the dog in the fight, but rather the size of the fight in the dog that matters, eh? Wings just gotta' settle down, play their game, stay outta' da' box, yada, yada, yada ... it's still only the second time Boston's beat 'em all season, .

Originally I thought the Mason injury was a smoke screen and that he was going to play. Now I think it is more serious, and that the 'day-to-day' report is BS.

As you said, Emery is playing pretty well, and GT hasn't been the difference yet. And if the Flyers continue to take stupid penalties, it won't matter if it's Emery, Mason, or the great Bernie Parent
