and in completely irrelevant and off-topic news, the middle school academic bowl season has drawn to a close. The National Championships were last weekend in Dallas. Our B team finished 12th, and or A team was 3rd in the country.

Unfortunately we will be rebuilding this year, but I might follow this group to high school

and on rare occasions some of us in education get a little recognition thrown our way.
I just learned from the National History Bowl and Bee that I was named middle school coach of the year!
Pretty cool.

Excellent/congratulations!, ... that's like winning the Jack Adams Award of academia, ... I can tell you put a lot of time in, it is nice to get an "atta-boy" once in a while, .
