this is a discussion within the Music Community Forum; neither. i think someone like jimi was better at rock and roll... or maybe peter green or someone. the beatles were pop chick music and the stones had a plastic soul & would snag licks from the devil... and not ...

Beatles. Not so much the pop stuff but the drug years, those songs were heavily layered and well done. I turn them on almost every Sunday on Sirius. Nothing like the Beatles on Sunday morning. Plus there is no way of knowing what could have been if Lennon was around. He was still making great music. I'm not sure what the Stones have done in the past 20 years to be honest and franky I'm tired of hearing their half a dozen songs over and over.
