this is a discussion within the Music Community Forum; Glad to hear you liked the show. I've admittedly heard some mixed reviews, but I'm still considering hunting up some tix for June 26th in NOLA....

And you know, if you compare how they sounded in '84 to now, you have to be impressed. Dave is 58 so obviously he doesn't have that range he had 30 years ago, and they've all mellowed a bit, which is also understandable, but they ****ing rocked. Dave does 'talk' his way through some of the lyrics, but who cares? Eddie can freaking play, and he's better now than he has ever been... |
