Now that was real New Orleans music and good music and what kind of music the city should be known for.
His counterpart , Dave Bartholmew , who wrote all those good songs is still alive, but very elderly. He is in his early or mid 90s'. I think his health is so-so.
DaveB is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland , Ohio too.
