Re: Singer Eddie Money diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer
He was humble guy. The producer of his broadway show said before opening night they went grab something to eat. He wanted to go to McDonald's. The producer could not believe he was sitting in McDonald's with Eddie who was eating a cheeseburger meal. Everyone said he didn't care about actual money.
The record company didn't like "Two Tickets To Paradise" so he wrote another single in less than a day; "Baby Hold On To Me". Next record they let him release "Two Tickets". Both massive hits. |

RIP Eddie. My favorite song of his is I Wanna Go Back. That song always gets to me. Also I have been checking out Playing for Keeps, what an underrated record.
