RE: Pick number 21!
Pats go with Bobby Carpenter, LB, OSU. The patriots have a bunch of aging linebackers and Carpenter would fit perfectly into their 3-4 scheme.

RE: Pick number 21!
The Patriots select Bobby Carpenter, LB, Ohio State. The Patriots have proved over and over again the last few years that they are the best team in the draft. They always select quality players who always seem to come in and contribute. And the trend continues as they get another good one with Carpenter. He's a meat and potatoes kind of linebacker who hits hard and has good enough speed to cover. The Pats' LB corp, who used to be one of the best recently, struggled last season with aging players and injuries. The addition of Carpenter should immediately inject good talent and energy into this slowing machine.

New England picks LB Bobby Carpenter, Ohio State
New England hasn't had the best Defense, even in it's SB winning years. But they have had a solid D & Carpenter is a solid player that will help this coming year. |
