ROUND ONE

1. St. Louis Rams - Ndamukong Suh, DT/DE, 6-4, 305, Nebraska
I'm sure the Rams would love to get a quarterback, but none of them have a compelling enough case to be the top pick. They grab the best player in the class in Suh (Plan B: Gerald McCoy)

2. Detroit Lions - Russell Okung, OT, 6-5, 300, Oklahoma State
I feel the plan in Detroit is to continue to address the offense though the draft, and the defense through free agency. I don't buy into the talk about Jeff Backus being a pro bowl caliber left tackle. Numbers don't lie, and he often was beat for a sack. The depth of the defensive tackle class should also play into this decision. (Plan B: Gerald McCoy)

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Gerald McCoy, DT, 6-4, 295, Oklahoma*
Need meets value here. Most project McCoy as no worse than the 2nd best player in the class. His style of play perfectly fits the Bucs scheme. (Plan B: Eric Berry)

4. Washington Redskins - Eric Berry, S, 5-11, 195, Tennessee*
I don't believe the Redskins will be going quarterback here. Berry is a bit off the radar for the Skins, but his value here is too much to pass up. He's the most versatile of any DB in this class, and could create a nice safety tandem with former 1st rounder LaRon Landry. (Plan B: Jimmy Clausen)

5. Kansas City Chiefs - Anthony Davis, OT, 6-6, 330, Rutgers*
This pick falls right in line with the Chiefs needs. With Davis, and Branden Albert, the Chiefs have options on how to configure the offensive line going forward. Likely, Albert goes to the right side, and Davis the left. (Plan B: Rolando McClain)
