Donte Hightower in the 2nd?
Don't tease me bro. I'd do naked cartwheels in my front yard... again, but this time sober. We'd probably have to trade up 10 or so spots to have a shot but I'd be OK with that. His knee is probably 100% by now, and he was a better pro prospect than Courtney Upshaw before his 2010 injury. |

We might get lucky, Cam Jordan was also projected to be a way higher draft pick!
Since last year was quiet a QB heavy draft, I wouldn't be surprised to see many OL guys in the first round. |

I think we should get another pass catching TE in the draft to make the offense truly unstoppable.

I'd have zero issue with drafting Orson Charles especially if Colston isn't retained.

Colston is irreplaceable. We might find another receiver to fill his shoes but I don't think he will have the same impact and the same production. We still have two speedsters in Henderson and Meachem. Moore will step up into a more consistent role. Let's not forget we've got two good looking players on the PS. I don't want to waste a draft pick on a receiver. We need too many parts on defense. And yes, possibly an offensive guard. I hope not though.

Possible 2nd Rounders and, I should add, all unlikely to be there: LB Donta Hightower, DE/LB Whitney Mercilus, DT Dontari Poe, and WR Stephen Hill
Realistic 2nd Round pick: DL Jared Crick Possible 3rd Rounders, hopefully this is where we get Crick: FS Markelle Martin, G Brandon Washington, WR Tommy Streeter, TE Ladarius Green, SS Harrison Smith Possible 4th Rounders: DT Akiem Hicks, DT Derek Wolfe, WR Jarius Wright, TE Michael Egnew, C Phillip Blake And so on... Best case scenario: 2nd Hightower, 3rd Crick, 4th Martin, 5th Wolfe, 6th Egnew and Gerell Robinson, 7th Adrien Cole And, if at all possible, find a way to get Blake. |

Was really impressed with Hightower at the combine. With his thick frame, I didn't think he could run that well... and now I think he tested himself into the bottom half of the first round or high second. Impressive. Upshaw was a little disappointing.
I think Crick tested himself into the 3rd/4th round. They said he was average everywhere. As I was watching the position drills for linebackers, there seems to be quite a few unknown prospects that look very fluid and capable. |
