These kinds of games and the two glaring Saints losses em route to the SB are prime examples. At least, number 35 for Tampon was getting called more for holding and PI for their press coverage, not that it matters on how they were officiating OPI.

As for the Saints, the no call against the Rams was simply a total screw up by the officials and had nothing to do with fixing a game. An NFL game could not be fixed without several people being involved and there is no way with all of the money involved that everyone would keep their mouths shut. The gambling industry avoids anything that smells of impropriety like the plague as not reporting any concerns could cost them their license and billions of dollars. The NFL has FAR too much to lose to ever fix a game. That is a fact. |
