This ain’t over. NFLPA is demanding all 650,000 e-mails investigated be released. There is another “smoking gun” there somewhere. Since they were friends, Gruden likely sent an e-mail to Payton sometime ago that will be used to come after him. Just wait for it.

That's what I'm worried about RG would love to drag the Saints over the coals.
But I suspect there are a lot of folks within the League that are sweating it out.

The Saints should contact Hillary C. to learn about Bleach-bit and how to be rid of emails that could cast them in a poor light.

The Saints have already turned over all of their emails when the New Orleans Catholic Church fiasco was taking place.

And that has nothing to do with any “personal” correspondence between Gruden and Payton.

It wasn't "personal" correspondence that sunk Gruden. It was correspondence over NFL related accounts on one side or the other.

Personal correspondence can't be touched by the NFL (ie. gmail from Sean to Gruden's personal AOL account). The supposed 650,000 emails (or however many) in which the Gruden statements were found are NFL related sources and would probably include all of the Saints emails turned over in the Catholic Diocese case.

The very last thing that Goodell wants is for this to blow up at all. Goodell, in this case, wants nobody racked over any coals. His balls are already sucked up so far over the Gruden news.
