Aaron Rodgers out vs. Chiefs due to positive COVID-19 test

First thing he did was call Jake from State Farm.
More time to spend with his Bud and that unfortunate Dog.

Even without ARod, I think this game could be a toss-up.

That KC defense is bad and Patrick Mahommes is still throwing up ducks this season. I think he's up to 12 picks so far.

And we'll see what QB Love is made of. Should Rodgers be worried?

Re: Aaron Rodgers out vs. Chiefs due to positive COVID-19 test

He's on the mandatory 10 day COVID list so that means he was not vaccinated. Vaccinated players can be cleared as soon as they have two negative tests without the wait.

That's letting your teammates down.

In a manner of speaking. That said, if he had undertaken the procedure earlier there's no guarantee that he wouldn't have had the same setback and missed the season anyway, right?

Water under the bridge. I'll assure you that not a single Saints player is concerned about what was. They are all looking forward.

But, dwell away if you wish! :D

I'm looking forward to our playoff run.

Who Dat!

Tested positive and has been breaking the league’s COVID protocols all season… but I guarantee there won’t be any punishment.

So let me get this straight… the NFL knew Rodgers wasn’t vaccinated and watched him and the Packers brazenly break the protocols this whole time and didn’t do a damn thing.

Not yet. The proverbial kaka is about to hit the fan for the Packers. The piranha type media are going to eat this up.

So Rodgers basically lied about being vaccinated ?

Let's see what action the "shield" take but I won't hold my breath.

I would think that this is worse than what the Saints did last year when they were fined and lost a draft pick. The Saints players had just played a game together on a field without a mask and then celebrated in a locker room.

:brood:Virtue signaling at all levels disgusts me.

There are some potentially serious problems with the “unvaccinated-Aaron Rodgers-has-COVID-19” story, so let’s get the funny business out of the way first. AP Sports

Don't think it's funny business, he should be banned from the league.
Look on the bright side for AR he can ride-share with Gruden to Woman's volleyball games.

So he's working up to Jameis' 30 interceptions in a single season?

There should be consequences from his actions.

OTOH, if he really did get Covid, he now has the antibodies!

Agreed but did you see how fast the NFL swept the Gruden & WFT problem under the table.
I suspect they will do the same for Arrogant Aaron, slap on the wrist.
As many have written here if a Saint was in the same situation the NFL
would probably banish Sean to Siberia.

I’d say he’s on par for about 20. Patrick is simply forcing the ball and throwing it up hoping for miracles in 2021. That offense just looks “off” this year.

Not to mention the defense is bad.

The problem isn't with Patrick or the Offense it's all on Coach Reid.
Take a close look at his play sheet, it's actually a Ihop menu.

Agreed. The thing for me here is that the Green Bay organization & Rodgers seem to believe rules don't apply to them. I've read a few of the comments coming from their front office and they seem a bit arrogant. A slap on the wrist is coming, just watch.

If the Saints would have done something like that, we'd be treated far worse than the Pack.

Double standard BS by the league.

Boston Saint 11-06-2021 10:57 AM

Re: Aaron Rodgers out vs. Chiefs due to positive COVID-19 test

I’m torn by this. On the one side I don’t like him much and want the Packers to suffer. It seems like he did not follow The “policies” and was not forthcoming about it. The saints and other teams have paid a penalty for this and so should he/they. I say he should miss additional games after he is able to return from COVID protocol and the team should suffer draft pick and fine penalties.

On the other side he was my starting fantasy QB and I’m kinda screwed. 🤔

Packers fined $300K, Aaron Rodgers, Allen Lazard fined $14K for violation of COVID protocols.

As I stated earlier, a slap on the wrist for Green Bay.

Steelers for some reason stay on the top favorite list of the NFL.
The Bears had some unbelievable bad calls against them. Kinda of reminded me of us.
