Economic offset is no longer offsetting economically, unless you factor in SBs. Even then, has a SB ever been awarded to GB stadium? Why not? Why is it a carrot for new stadiums to host a SB?
But if I own a home in an area that was hoping for a new stadium then that would increase local business traffic and make my property more valuable; so it’s not OPM. It’s my money investing in something that can benefit the community like good schools or a hospital or parks in your area.
