I think Baker Mayfield deserves a little more respect than he's gotten in the NFL. He has some talent and is immediately the best QB on the Panties roster. I really think Seattle should have tried to get him, where they can't honestly think Geno Smith or Drew Lock is the guy. I know he's not Russell Wilson by any means, but Baker throws a similar ball and has some scrambling ability. I get the feeling people somehow compare him to Johnny Manziel, just because he went to the Browns. That is not a fair comparison, and I hope ANYONE who approved of Cleveland drafting Manziel is not involved in football in any way.

He dealt with a pretty bad shoulder injury too didn’t he?

Ah, yes, that Carolina game last year. Let's not forget that the team was displaced by the hurricane, was starting Ruiz at center and Throckmorton at RG, Ty Montgomery and Chris Hogan at WR. Defensive starters included Christian Ringo, Shy Tuttle, Zack Baun, Bradley Roby and P.J. Williams. Not to mention that eight coaches were absent due to a COVID outbreak.

LOL! You would whine so hard about how I always come after you if I had made this same type of post after you! Priceless!

Yeah, in your opinion the Saints had lots of excuses as to why they lost that first Carolina game last year. That’s why they’ll have to do better this year IMO.

No problem here. I’m actually laughing.

I didn’t say you were coming after me. I’m saying this is the type of
post you use as an example of others coming after you.

Just made bets with two different poker friends. Who wins more games,
Saints or Carolina. Saints win I get a steak dinner from each. Panties win I make them a gumbo dinner each.

Looking forward to some ribeyes !

Well, If we’re gonna do that then we have to write off the good things too like Winston’s TD/INT ratio, the play of Adebo and the overall quality of the D in general 😉
