And yes you may argue that the NFL is growing in revenue and popularity so Roger must be doing a good job. He isn't ... the NFL is just a giant golden egg that's mostly impossible to damage. But it could be far better than what it is, and Roger doesn't even come close to that. |

I don't know. As much as I dislike Goodell, he has ushered in quite a few new revenue streams that have helped make the NFL machine so indestructible. He's far more for the league financially than either Pete Rozelle or Paul Tagliabue combined. Personally I would love to see Condi Rice get the gig someday. A move from part owner of the Broncos would be a logical step.
