Aaron Rodgers is a Jet.

The most talked-about move of the 2023 offseason has finally been completed, just days before the 2023 NFL draft: The Packers have traded Rodgers to the Jets.

Like the Move or not, you have to give the Jets credit. They’ve got talent and if Rodgers can play at his past high-level then Jets are relevant for the next three years anyway. They are going “All in” as us holdem players say

So a 1st round swap this season, a conditional 1st rounder in 2024 & a 2nd rounder this year.

All of that for a soon to be 40 year old QB?

They are hoping for a couple good years like Tampa did with Brady.

My poker group buddies (here in Boston) are all texting about it. There is one Jets fan in the bunch that is catching a bunch on flak. I just told them that I think the Jets will have more wins than the Pats do next year. let’s see if I’m challenged to put my money where my mouth is!

Yeah I agree, but at least they are putting chips in rez. We are talking about a franchise that has been bad for a long time. Can’t blame them for looking for a spark.
