Totally bogus story. One in a series of Facebook spam posts over the past few weeks.

Snopes.com: False Rumors of Referee Firings Promoted in Facebook Posts

Users from Indonesia, Nigeria and other countries posted untrue rumors of NBA, NCAA, NFL and NHL referees fired for involvement in bribery scandals.

Our research of these rumors found users promoting the false stories seized on buzz surrounding very recent sporting events. Facebook listed managers for the pages promoting the claims as residing in Indonesia, Nigeria, the Philippines, the U.S. and Vietnam. The articles associated with the posts displayed advertisements at an usually high rate, indicating one of the goals of users pushing the stories was advertising revenue.

In other words, clickbait, directed at a gullible audience.

Well I don't do social media, so I presume I cannot access facebook. So I ptresume I cannot even read the stuff there.

Disappointing though, that the human race, reportedly from 3 continents somehow enjoy putting stuff out there of an untrue status.
