New Bills GM Nix cleans slate, fires entire coaching staff

New Buffalo Bills general manager Buddy Nix fired all of the team's coaches Monday and told them to clean out their offices and leave the building, NFL.com's Vic Carucci reports.





A person familiar with the decision told The Associated Press that interim coach Perry Fewell was fired but still will interview for the vacant job. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the team hasn't announced the dismissals.

The decisions came one day after the Bills beat the Indianapolis Colts 30-7 to end their season at 6-10.

The Bills are in the midst of a major shakeup after missing the playoffs for a 10th consecutive season. Coach Dick Jauron was fired in November. Nix was promoted from national scout to GM last week.
