The NFC will be taking the SUPER BOWL back from the AFC
Not sure about you folks but it has been hard to take the many years of AFC teams winning the Super Bowl. I think it is destiny and quite fitting that one of the five remaining teams who've never been to the big show will be the team to end the AFC Super Bowl run. It is our time. Who Dat.
The Dolts do not have what the Vikings have. Sure Manning is good, and they are obviously a good team, but we stack up REALLY well against the AFC. Look at how the SAINTS ran the table on the East Coast this season. They've passed every test. I really enjoyed the Patriots shellacking, in particular. Lest ye forget, the SAINTS beat EVERY AFC team they played this season. 3 Sun, Sep 27 @ Buffalo W 27-7 3-0 Brees 172 Thomas 126 Colston 67 4 Sun, Oct 4 NY Jets W24-10 4-0 Brees 190 Thomas 86 Thomas 46 7 Sun, Oct 25 @ Miami W46-34 6-0 Brees 298 Bell 80 Shockey 105 12 Mon, Nov 30 New England W38-17 11-0 Brees 371 Thomas 64 Colston 121 Correction. They kicked AFC ass, is more like it. The AFC was the Conference they added to our schedule this season. Thanks! Nice warm up games for Indy! The SAINTS dominated the AFC in the 2009 regular season. It isn't bragging when it is fact. ![]() ![]() ![]() WK DATE OPPONENT RESULT W-L HI PASSING HI RUSHING HI RECEIVING 1 Sun, Sep 13 Detroit W45-27 1-0 Brees 358 Bell 143 Henderson 103 2 Sun, Sep 20 @ Philadelphia W48-22 2-0 Brees 311 Bell 86 Colston 98 3 Sun, Sep 27 @ Buffalo W 27-7 3-0 Brees 172 Thomas 126 Colston 67 4 Sun, Oct 4 NY Jets W24-10 4-0 Brees 190 Thomas 86 Thomas 46 5 BYE WEEK 6 Sun, Oct 18 NY Giants W48-27 5-0 Brees 369 Thomas 72 Colston 166 7 Sun, Oct 25 @ Miami W46-34 6-0 Brees 298 Bell 80 Shockey 105 8 Mon, Nov 2 Atlanta W35-27 7-0 Brees 308 Thomas 91 Colston 85 9 Sun, Nov 8 Carolina W30-20 8-0 Brees 330 Thomas 50 Meachem 98 10 Sun, Nov 15 @ St. Louis W28-23 9-0 Brees 223 Bush 83 Henderson 72 11 Sun, Nov 22 @ Tampa Bay W 38-7 10-0 Brees 187 Thomas 92 Colston 74 12 Mon, Nov 30 New England W38-17 11-0 Brees 371 Thomas 64 Colston 121 13 Sun, Dec 6 @ Washington W33-30 OT 12-0 Brees 419 Bell 34 Meachem 142 14 Sun, Dec 13 @ Atlanta W26-23 13-0 Brees 296 Thomas 47 Meachem 57 15 Sat, Dec 19 Dallas L17-24 13-1 Brees 298 Bush 29 Colston 86 16 Sun, Dec 27 Tampa Bay L17-20 OT 13-2 Brees 258 Thomas 60 Colston 77 17 Sun, Jan 3 @ Carolina L10-23 13-3 Brunell 102 Hamilton 48 Hamilton 38 Postseason Schedule/Results WK DATE OPPONENT RESULT W-L HI PASSING HI RUSHING HI RECEIVING DIV Sat, Jan 16 Arizona W45-14 1-0 Brees 247 Bush 84 Colston 83 CONF Sun, Jan 24 MinnieSOOOTA W31-28 OT 2-0 Brees 197 Thomas 61 Henderson 39 |
