The NFC will be taking the SUPER BOWL back from the AFC
Not sure about you folks but it has been hard to take the many years of AFC teams winning the Super Bowl. I think it is destiny and quite fitting that one of the five remaining teams who've never been to the big show will be the team to end the AFC Super Bowl run. It is our time. Who Dat.
The Dolts do not have what the Vikings have. Sure Manning is good, and they are obviously a good team, but we stack up REALLY well against the AFC. Look at how the SAINTS ran the table on the East Coast this season. They've passed every test. I really enjoyed the Patriots shellacking, in particular. Lest ye forget, the SAINTS beat EVERY AFC team they played this season. 3 Sun, Sep 27 @ Buffalo W 27-7 3-0 Brees 172 Thomas 126 Colston 67 4 Sun, Oct 4 NY Jets W24-10 4-0 Brees 190 Thomas 86 Thomas 46 7 Sun, Oct 25 @ Miami W46-34 6-0 Brees 298 Bell 80 Shockey 105 12 Mon, Nov 30 New England W38-17 11-0 Brees 371 Thomas 64 Colston 121 Correction. They kicked AFC ass, is more like it. The AFC was the Conference they added to our schedule this season. Thanks! Nice warm up games for Indy! The SAINTS dominated the AFC in the 2009 regular season. It isn't bragging when it is fact. Re: The NFC will be taking the SUPER BOWL back from the AFC
Indianapolis is on the East coast?
Want to slice and dice your wins and skew the stats? K. Indy beat every NFC team and beat EVERY team (AFC or NFC) when the starters played a full 60. Indy also beat every team who's starting quarterback's last name begins with 'B'. Seriously...throw all of the stats all of the previous games out the window. The Superbowl is a whole different animal. Saints may match up well with the Colts, but Manning matches up well against ANY D. |

We haven't played the Dolts yet. You must have reading comprehension issues or something. Try rereading what I said.
Hint. I was referring to teams we PLAYED this season. Past tense. Maybe that will assist you. If you look at the schedule I provided it PROVES that what I am saying is fact. The SAINTS RAN THE TABLE ON THE EAST COAST TEAMS during the regular season. Capeeesh? We are gonna kick AFC ass, is the point. The Saints did exactly that, all year long. Why on earth would the Saints stop now? The Dolts are toast. It is our time. Who Dat. Geaux Saints. |

Annnnd The Colts ran the table on the NFC West. So what?
Indy is not New England, Buffalo, Jets, or Miami. The fact is there is 1 winner and 1 looser. The Saints may not WANT to stop now, but the fact of the matter is that they may not be able to. |

Re: The NFC will be taking the SUPER BOWL back from the AFC
Didn't the NFC win the SB two years ago when the Giants beat the Pats? That doesn't really sound like AFC domination to me.
I understand you are pumped about the Saints great season and their first superbowl but saying you are going to beat the Colts because you beat all the other East coast teams is sort of stupid. Two main points however, 1. the Colts aren't an East coast team 2. for all intense and purposes the Colts are 18-0. By your logic I'm providing "facts", which obviously aren't facts, that the Colts will win. I think the Colts D has some real tough work for them and as always Peyton Manning will be no easy feat for your D. Every team this year has known we are going to throw on them yet we still somehow manage to do it. We just put up 30 points on the NFL's best defense so... I think we are in for one great game. |

All this speculation beforehand is clueless hoping and guessing.
