Kickers and Quarter Backs: Decide before the game and tell the Ref if your a Participatory Player or Observing Player.

If you are an observing player and you move in the direction of any player with the ball to attempt to tackle or attempt any block what so ever then you are penalized to the goal line.

If you are a participatory player then your fair game for the whole game.


It is completely screwed that a kicker or quarterback can tackle or throw a block but you can not hit them... for the most part.

if they are on the field.....they are fair game.....thats what i tell my kids on friday nights.....

if the refs get in the way, go through them.....if the QB gets in the way, take his head off.....if the running back comes at you....let him know that you were there first

we have a DE that has 1 job......every play he hits the QB....coincidentally he is also the schools all time sacks leader...and hes only a junior.....since a play action can happen on any play and the DE cant see the ball because the QB is "hiding" it......there can be no penalty....at least thats what i tell him

unfortunately for that kid, he is also the most penalized kid in our high schools history......dumb refs

Damned if you do and damned if you dont...... As far as penalties go, remind him Farve is the all time greatest interception thrower and will eventually be in the Hall of fame.. That should light a fire under him lol.

LOL Saying that Farve is one of the all time GREAT Quarterbacks tells me that "Great quarterback" is defined as throws more interceptions that anyone else, and as a person who is not smart enough to to steer away from personal injury...

LOL He has only proven that he is NOT a team player and the Farve is bigger than the whole, and I sort of see him as the kid who keeps burning him self on the fire, knowing it is hot and knowing it will burn him but keeps going back for more...
