Posted: March 8th, 2010 | Jason La Canfora | Tags: Cleveland Browns, Mike Holmgren, Seattle Seahawks, Seneca Wallace The Browns acquired QB Seneca Wallace from the Seahawks on Monday, according to league sources. The nature of compensation isn’t known. The Browns still could make other moves for veteran quarterbacks, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. New Browns president Mike Holmgren is familiar with Wallace, a fifth-round draft pick by the Seahawks in 2003, given their six seasons together in Seattle. |
Re: Browns acquire QB Wallace from Seahawks
That could mean Derek Anderson may be released by the Browns.
Could be a candidate for Saints' backup QB if that happens. |
Re: Browns acquire QB Wallace from Seahawks
Are there any real QBs in Leave-Land??
Anderson had that one good year (he was my backup in my fantasy league) BUT look how horrid he was last year. |

At any rate, Anderson was just released by the Browns, who will probably get Troy Smith, former Buckeye QB, from the Ravens. I still think Loomis should at least take a look at Derek Anderson. |
