The Browns acquired QB Seneca Wallace from the Seahawks on Monday, according to league sources.

The nature of compensation isn’t known.

The Browns still could make other moves for veteran quarterbacks, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. New Browns president Mike Holmgren is familiar with Wallace, a fifth-round draft pick by the Seahawks in 2003, given their six seasons together in Seattle.

That could mean Derek Anderson may be released by the Browns.

Could be a candidate for Saints' backup QB if that happens.

Are there any real QBs in Leave-Land??

Anderson had that one good year (he was my backup in my fantasy league) BUT look how horrid he was last year.

Look how horrible Cleveland's TEAM was last season. Derek Anderson has proven that he is CAPABLE of putting up good numbers; who knows what he could do in Sean Payton's system.

At any rate, Anderson was just released by the Browns, who will probably get Troy Smith, former Buckeye QB, from the Ravens.

I still think Loomis should at least take a look at Derek Anderson.

if anybody has ever watched derek anderson actually play.....which seems to be nobody outside of cleveland....its easy to see how terribly inaccurate he is

he has a very strong arm but he cant manage to put the ball anywhere near his receivers.....

i would not want him as a backup...i wouldnt want him in a box.....i wouldnt want him with a fox......i wouldnt want him on a boat......i wouldnt want him with a goat
