Brett Favre is a grandfather
 

Reports confirmed, NFL Quarterback Brett Favre is a grandfather for the first time as daughter Brittany Favre is expecting her first child. Favre becoming a grandfather at the age of 40 seems fairly young but considering that he was only 19 years and then girlfriend now wife and mom of Brittany was 20 at the time of the young mom to be birth it all makes sense.

Favre might not only be the youngest NFL grandfather in the history of the sport but apparently he is also the only grandfather in the NFL today. HUMMM!

He retired several years ago only to then return to the sport he loves so very much under a veil of controversy that quickly settled down when Favre took to the football field and started once again bringing the Favre magic on the day.

Favre could not produce the goods to nab a Super Bowl victory to Minnesota. According to reports, Brett Favre’s daughter Brittany Favre has delivered a baby boy. The birth of his first grandchild signifies so very much for this NFL player whose career spans now several decades. If Favre returns to NFL in 2010 then he would be the first grandfather in NFL to do so for many years. According to NFL sources, George Blanda is considered to have been the first active NFL grandfather, but apparently the “achievement is disputed.” Congrats Grandpa!

Yeah it is...grandkids are the best...when you had all the luv you want ..just send them back to mom and dad...lol...thats what i do..

When it comes to Favre, I think this is about as good as it's gonna get coming from you. :) I just can't believe there is a thread about a guy from Mississippi being a grandfather and someone hasn't made some sort of...ahhh...nevermind.

Call me heartless. But I just don't get my jollies off of Favre news. Sorry. Just because he's from Mississippi, doesn't make me like him. At least I'm being nice about it.

As for him having grandkids, I can't relate. I don't even have children of my own. Plus, I don't know him on a personal level, so I can't really be too happy for him. I mean, yeah "Congrats" on him becoming a grandpa, but I really don't have much more to say about it. Not trying to offend anyone. :???:

My boyfriend became an uncle over the weekend, but since you don't know him or myself, you probably could care less..

C'mon...I care. I was only messing with you about Favre...I know you don't care about him and care even less to hear all the hype.

The Mississippi comment was a lame attempt at a joke...you know....he could not only be his grandfather, but his father as well. I know...pretty bad...but ever since I left Mississippi and told people that was where I was from, that's the only kind of jokes I ever hear. I know...my bad.
