I cant play the Race card as I am White as wonder bread!!! I am just pointing out an observation. If he had kicked a dog he would be gone already. Innocent until proven guilty is BS and we ALL know it. The justice system is driven by money and some people manage to buy there way out of trouble often. In this time in our country Vicks dogs have a larger voice than Bens victims but hey if those females are willing to take a PAYADAY to let him off its their choice right. Also have you ever heard of the "Rooney Rule" put in place because the Ronneys who own the Steelers were being biased toward White Coaches over minorities. Well the "Rooney Rule" doesn't apply to players so Ben Benefits; Holmes Packs. Holmes threw a glass, Ben stole the A$$ which is worse.

The Steelers were not going to give Holmes a new contract. The Jets got a very good football player for basically nothing. The Steelers can dump Roethlisberger as well without any cap hit next year, just alot of cash now, but I don't expect it to happen. A WR is easier to replace than a franchise QB. It does seem to be hypocritical though. Even if Ben is innocent, at the very least, he has repeatedly used VERY poor judgement. As the face of the franchise, that's just not acceptable. I personally would dump Ben and take McCoy late in the first and draft Shipley in the third. LOL.

the steelers who have had one of the most stable franchises over the last several decades?

why would they interview a coach they dont want? the rooney rule is a joke...it requires you to interview a minority who may not even be qualified for the job......the league is forcefully integrating and that is not the way to go about it

if you want to have minorities in coaching positions, have them learn the job and earn their way....not be force fed to the owners

you know why there are so many white coaches? because the league was prodominantly white and the players got older and became coaches

now the league is prodominantly made up of minorities and the league will soon see a change in the leadership roles as well

it didnt have to be force fed....it was going there anyway

as far as vick goes.....that had little to do with the crime and more to do with peta.....completely different scenario

and whether you believe people are innocent until proven guilty or not, that is the lay of the law and you gotta live by it

The woman in Vegas went to Ben's room because he called down and said his tv wasn't working. She was a 'hostess', not an electrician. Why was she in his room? Was he planning on raping the maintenance guy if he came up to the room?

In GA they are not even furthering the investigation, and Ben did not even give DNA. Enough said.

Roethlisberger is gulity of being stupid, not sexual assault. Holmes is looking at 4 games out. Vick is a felon.

Ok so the Video evidence against Ben in GA was mysteriously over written and after reporting the ATTACk the night it happened the victim decides to not speak to police. Say what you want Ben is an animal and should be put Down; As for Vick he did break the Law but if Dogs took checks he would have been just as innocent as Ben!!! Hell he fought dogs.. put those mangy animals in the street and they will fight with out provocation they are animals thats what they do. Ben thinks hes above the law Vick openly takes accountability. If I had to choose Id cut Ben and Sign Vick who has shown greater character.

Ben is guilty of hanging around idiots just like Vick and Holmes and Pacman and whoever else that's still trying to "keep it real"... or act like they're still 19 years old.

And I don't care what color you are - playing the race card just fuels negative arguments. Why not hold people responsible for their ACTIONS and PERFORMANCE instead of their color.
