Wife of former Steelers coach Cowher dies
BY SPORTS NETWORK THE SPORTS NETWORK Kaye Cowher, the wife of former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher, reportedly died Friday at the age of 54. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports Kaye died in her native North Carolina after a battle with skin cancer. The paper said the Cowhers met in 1976, when they were classmates at North Carolina State. The Cowhers made Raleigh, N.C. their home following the end of Bill's coaching career with the Steelers. He resigned in 2006 after 15 seasons |
