The word today is that Moss demanded the trade, and he wouldn't respond to that question. This seems to be in line with BB stating yesterday that Moss and reps were fully aware of this move in the works.

Makes sense. During training came and beginning of the season he seemed to feel "outdated" or that he would be traded anyway.

He'll get playing time at the Vikes as that's an area of need for them.

I chalk this move up as the Pats jettisoning any high priced vet not named Brady. I may be mistaken, but it seemed that Brady's best seasons statistically were while Moss was here. Remember the Pats cutting loose Seymour? Samuels? I can go on and on. This is why their young secondary is feast or famine. They'll either get a pick, or get burned. Their defensive Captain Mayo as an LB is like in his 3rd year. I don't blame Moss for making a preemptive strike.

Oh, and I forgot about 2x PBer guard Mankins also holding out. Lets talk about the Pats being still in search of a running game. Sometimes, the most well devised systems still need the studs and leaders on the field to implement the plan...

Imitating my game is the most sincere form of flattery.
