So who do you NOT expect to see next year?
With the number of free agents we have, I believe 27 at last count, and the approach of the draft, who do you expect to see in a different uniform next year? I expect a large amount of movement in the offseason. To begin with, I see Reggie gone. I don't us dropping $12M on such a small amount of return. He gets hurt every year, and we have proven we can win without him. I hope we keep PT because I think he is a better screen and out of the backfield guy than Reggie. With a healthy Graham and Thomas at TE, I think Shockey is also gone. Entirely too fragile even if I do like his experience. Henderson will be dropped like one of the passes he let hit the turf this year and I'm not sure we see Meachem either. Meachem had a breakout year last year just to break back in to mediocrity this year. If he does stay, hopefully he keeps with the cycle and has another up year.
On the defensive side, I see Sharper age as an issue. Harper's performance, or lack thereof, has him on the short list. And could we please get a linebacker to help Vilma out. Watching Shanle run is painful. It's like a go-cart on a Nascar track. This is where our highest draft picks come in to play. Have to get a speed rusher off the edge and linebacker support. Just some random thoughts. What do you guys think? |

I don't think we see Reggie or PT next year, both have proven they can't stay healthy. I'm thinking we draft someone like Shane Vereen with our first 3rd round pick[J. Brown trade].

Shockey will be back he's still a good TE. Having Graham behind him helps out alot and will save some snaps for him
