Roman Harper to the pro bowl
From Nola.com
Posted:01/23/2011 8:54 PM New Orleans Saints safety Roman Harper will replace the Green Bay Packers' Nick Collins in the Pro Bowl, the team announced Sunday. The Packers defeated the Chicago Bears 21-14 in the NFC championship game Sunday to advance to Super Bowl XLV on Feb. 6. The Pro Bowl will be played Jan. 30 at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu. Harper had 100 tackles,*five forced fumbles, three sacks,*and an interception this season.* He will join Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma as representatives of the team's defense, which originally had no members selected to the team. Vilma replaced the San Francisco 49ers' Patrick Willis, who has a broken right hand. Quarterback Drew Brees and*guards Jahri Evans and Carl Nicks will represent the Saints' offense in the all-star game. Happy another Saint made it to the pro bowl, but I wish none of them where playing. Who dat two dat next year |
