Rams released FS O.J. Atogwe.
Atogwe was due an $8M roster bonus on the 21st, and the Rams clearly had no plans to pay it. Though Atogwe had expressed desire to stay in St. Louis, he'd be smart to shop his wares on the market. Unlike most unrestricted free agents, Atogwe doesn't have to wait for a new CBA to sign elsewhere. He also turns 30 this summer, and won't have many more chances like this to hit it big. Atogwe is fairly solid. I wouldn't mind it if the Saints gave him a look-see.
