ESPN calling Eagles "Dream team"

this is a discussion within the NFL Community Forum; ESPN is getting to the point of ridiculous.... Calling the Eagles a "dream team", because of the signings they have made? Give me a break... Vick, and VY? Sounds more like a nightmare team to me.... They get on this ...

ESPN calling Eagles "Dream team"

ESPN is getting to the point of ridiculous.... Calling the Eagles a "dream team", because of the signings they have made? Give me a break... Vick, and VY? Sounds more like a nightmare team to me.... They get on this bandwagon EVERY YEAR, and every year, they are wrong.... Philly has proven to be chokers, no matter how far they go every year. Talent? Yes... Am I drinking the ESPN Kool Aide? Nooooo....

They made some really good moves this offseason but I still see holes in their defense. Though right now they have Nnamdi and Asante, they're currently fielding offers for the latter. Jenkins in a 3 tech guy and Patterson is far from a world beater at DT. They're weak up the middle and their prized free agent signing of Babin could blow up in their face. Up until last year, their now 31 year old stud DE was a bust. He's had one good season in the NFL and has bounced around the league for a quite a while now. They've lost their best safety in Mikell and have also lost a some linebackers as well.

Offensively they look beastly... though they could use a back up RB who can grind out the clock if need be. McCoy isn't that type of back.

They look very good as a whole... but "Dream Team" is definitely stretching it.

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

All little common sense goes a long way.

Where is that hot girl with the " f$&@ da eagles shirt" when you need her?
I remember seeing her at the playoff game in the '06 season.

it takes times for players to get used to each other. it's not just the system its the players comfortability with each other, and their time spent in it. Too much turn over usually leads to inconsistency.

Vick is very good, but I think near the end of the year teams have started to figure out how to plan against him. I do agree that the eagles are weak in there LB's and safety's.

Ive been watching ESPN here at work for the last two hours, and have seen at least six segments about the Eagles, and how they are officially the favorite to win it all.... ESPN is just a complete joke now.....
