Baltimore Colt/Police Academy actor Bubba Smith passes away today
Sad news was disclosed on the NBC Evening News today that Bubba Smith has passed away. He was with the Baltimore Colts for many years and later was an actor in the Police Academy movie series as Officer Hightower. He was an outstanding football player and a very funny actor, as well as a humble and sweet man and will be missed. Rest in peace Bubba.

He was also an Oiler standout.
Born in Orange, TX / went to school in Beaumont. rest in peace, brother. -- It wouldnt surprise me if they do a special tribute to him in The Beaumont Enterprise, or the Orange Leader. |
