Braylon Edwards for 1 million

Braylon Edwards' one-year contract with the 49ers is for just $1 million with no guarantees, according to NFL Network's Jason La Canfora.

The deal was previously reported as a $3.5 million contract, but Edwards will only earn that if he catches 90 balls and goes to the Pro Bowl. In other words, it's not happening. It's a reminder of just how far Edwards' stock has fallen. His vertical speed is a poor fit with weak-armed Alex Smith. The Niners didn't overpay for Edwards' name and fantasy owners shouldn't either.

Now while his play has dropped off dramatically over the years, he's was still relatively young and the talent is still there. I don't think he's going to do much in San Fran, but this was quite the bargain.

We didn't need any receivers, but for 1 mil, he would have looked nice in the B&G.

Man is this kid trouble. I though he was going to great. Seem like a knucklehead. Not worth the time or trouble.

	Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege. All little common sense goes a long way.
