this is a discussion within the NFL Community Forum; If he doesn't make it to camp they might go with option 4 and put out a contract on him....

Pay him. I mean I gurantee they won't make him the highest paid RB ever, if he tears his ACL this year.

Id hold out knowing Im a top 3 RB playing for bench money. His career could be over on the next play, and the Titans have stated that theyre willing to make him the highest paid RB for a reason.

Yes and it appears it won't be resolved before the season starts. Bud Adams is adamant he will not negotiate a new deal with him until he reports to camp.
I don't have an issue with him trying to capitalize while he's still in the prime of his career. The only issue I have is the way he's dealing with it. They already said they were going to make him the highest paid RB in the league... once he shows up at camp. Just show up and the matter will get resolved sooner than later... all the senseless drama. |
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

Well, if he doesn't think he can take them at their word, he has to do what he has to do. It isn't like NFL coaches, GMs, and owners don't have a history of saying whatever they need to say to get what they want.
