Isn't he having to pay the NFL 30k a day that he holds out? I think I heard that's a new rule this year... |

Look.... we're talking about one of the most premier running backs of the modern era. Pay the man for god's sake. The Titan's front office doesn't really have a choice here anyway considering they have one of the most impotent offenses in the league with or without CJ. At least give yourselves a chance and secure the man for the long term.

I don't think it'll matter too much to him when he gets that multi-year and multi-million dollar contract. It'll just be chump change when he becomes one of the highest paid RB's in the league.

If I'm in his position, I tell the Titans "I get a new contract now or I'm gone after this season and you get nothing." Problem solved.

Not just CJ but all players. If a player feels he is  outplaying the current contract, don't agree to the contract. Simple.
