Matt Ryan falling down
Anyone else notice how many times he falls down as he's throwing the ball? And 'mi talking about plays when he's not even getting hit.

Because that is what Atlanta fans think an "elite" QB looks like....
A lot of it is designed roll outs where he's supposed to be moving. I don't really know why he falls down so much, but him throwing while running around back there (rather than standing still/planting and throwing) is a designed part of their offense... I suspect it has an influence on their recievers' large number of dropped balls, and on those incomplete plays where he consistently wildly overthrows the receiver on the deep ball. I hope they don't change a thing about their offense. Also the more he falls down, the more chance there is he dings himself up on a fluke play, falls on his wrist, cleat catches in the turf etc. |
