You're right. He's a frustrated young guy who said some dumb things and in a day and age where every word by an athlete is digested and regurgitated by anyone with access to the internet, comments like those can get you run off by a fan base. However, he is setting rookie records so he'll be granted some leeway certainly.

I'd be pretty disappointed by the comments if I was a Panthers fan. The Superman schtick would be (and is) irritating to me. That reeks of selfishness and super egoism.
