That's their jealous pattern of late. This sounds like a real hot organizational mess.

To be fair, the job sucks. Being in the same division with the SAINTS and the Falcons, and the never-really-terrible Panthers, it's almost an insurmountable battle to have a truly winning team there. Remember they had 10 wins a couple years ago and didn't get into the postseason. It's kind of awesome in a way, if you see it for what it is -- our fabulous SAINTS and Sean Payton are a big part of why the fans are staying away from the games there in Tampa. Why bother being a Bucs fan when you know the Saints are going to always be better than you until Brees and Payton are gone? Raheem is not a very good coach though. But I have been watching the club's attempts to get the fans to "buy in" to Raheem Morris and Josh Freeman. It's been a lot of really hollow PR, and now everyone sorta knows it.
Remember when Jim McKay was coach, and they were so bad, he wanted to have nothing to do with the players or the rest of the staff? He just went in his office all day and closed the door, ignored everyone, let the assistants run everything, and then showed up on the sidelines on Sundays dressed like he was going golfing. |
