Totally agree. However Pieriera was right about the two calls in question. One was helmet to helmet and the other was shoulder to back. Additionally though they didn't call the roughing the passer against Drew Brees and they also let the INT stand on the obvious defensive pass interference on Drew's second INT.

I really thought the call on Lofton was weak. The coincidental contact of heads cannot be controlled, and we have been on the wrong end of it all year.
The refs iwere bad, and made to seem worse by the poor explanations. The non-safety call was even more, let's say 'curious' after the explanation, and they call the roughing on Lofton 'hitting a defenseless receiver.' Except that the receiver touched the ball a split-second earlier. Oh well, it's a W |
