NFL Network just said that 11 coaches were hired in 2011, and only 3 still have a job: Rex Ryan, Jim Schwarz & Caldwell.

Will the AXE fall in SanDiego Norv Turner and AJ Smith.

Yes, it seems it is do or die. Win that SB or be fired.
Do owners give the coaches enough time?
Some do and some don't.
Don't forget, GM's, etc. are going out too.

A team needs to have a winning record/make the playoffs for a head coach to keep his job.

Most owners understand it takes years, if ever, for a team to get TO, a Super Bowl; look at the Saints for example.

No one gets a pass these day's. It seem win or your done. No offseason, Injuries, Money rules.
