Wade Phillips/Brad Childress could be Bucs new HC
|
The fact that the Brad Childress is even being considered for another HC job is BAFFLING. After the favre fiasco/circus in Minnesota? Yeah, this should be GREAT news for the Saints.
|
What I look at is what Minn. is like after he was fired, a lot worse.

Tampa is stupid they shouldn't have fire Raheem

That Tampa Bay job is a real tricky one. I mean, you are in the division with the SAINTS, Atlanta and Cam Newton? That's like a patented recipe for 10-6 at best and still no playoffs. It is not one of the easier coaching gigs to walk into and succeed at, which is kinda why Raheem was even there in the first place (promoted from within). Wade I don't see doing it, he is one of those guys who wants to WIN. But on the other hand, Childress is kind of masochistic/king of implosions/psychotically attuned to failure, so he might be a good fit there.

The best Raheem looked all year as a coach was when Sean Payton was in the other locker room with an ice pack on his knee, watching the game on television ...playing against a team without a coach on the other sideline, he is pretty good! Everything else after that was kinda garbage. Between the Rams, Browns, now the Bucs, there is a growing stat of losing teams who beat the Saints and then the coach gets fired at the end of the year! Message to coaches -- go ahead, lose to the Saints, and your job is safe, LOL

Won't matter either way for the next few years in our division.

Wade Phillips would be a nice choice for them. They have a lot of young talent along that front 7 that Phillips could come in and immediately make an impact with. Offensively they just need some consistency but the pieces are there.
