November 1 doesn't mean anything other than it is the 1st day of November in other cities. Patriots makes sense being in Mass., and even called New England. There are other football teams in the New England states and I don't which team came first, but NEP makes sense. Phoenix Cardinals, are there Cardinal birds in Phoenix, AZ? LOL.
