this is a discussion within the NFL Community Forum; I get it. He 'deserves' the money, as much as anyone really could deserve $20million a year. My point, and a lot of people's point, is that Drew could take 2 mill a year less and not worry about poor ...

I get it. He 'deserves' the money, as much as anyone really could deserve $20million a year.
My point, and a lot of people's point, is that Drew could take 2 mill a year less and not worry about poor guard play for the rest of his career. Brees has made over 100 mill, and stands to make another 100 mill before he retires. How much of that would he trade for a better shot at another ring? The reality is he is going to make $50,000 A DAY next year. Think about that when and if the cost of living raise kicks in for the average fan |
