I always like reading the comments after an article like this. The crazies want criminal charges pressed. For what logical reason? There are a lot of big hits in the NFL & NHL, which some appear to be intentional i.e. Lions SU & Steelers Harrison. I didn't hear anyone calling for criminal charges then. The refs are there to monitor those extreme hits & call the appropriate penalties. Maybe we should replace the refs with police officers. The NFL players are our warriors on the field representing our cities & states in battle. And a physical battle it is. I firmly believe no one should be intentionally trying to hurt anyone bounty or no bounty. Goodell already has fines & suspensions at his disposal when he feels a player or players have crossed the line. He used neither of those when the investigation began in 2009. Why? Because there were NO on field violations.
