Without a pass rush and with the loss Curtis Lofton, the team's leading tackler, neither offense nor defense will be able to compete adequately to win the NFC South or even notch a wild card berth.

How about "The Staff of Ord"?

Seriously, though, Stafford had a heck of a season last year, and to call his performance just "solid", it's a bit on the understatement side.
