factor in he does not step up in pressure situations, as shown by his numbers in the 4th quarter in close games, his numbers in the final two minutes of halves and fair to poor performances in the playoffs.

and

Add to that his weak arm and horrible completion percentages in passing over 20 yards. (you have to have seen how he lofts the ball when he throws deep)

it becomes very hard to give him the nod over other quarterbacks that have very strong attributes that don't get measured in the passer rating, like Roethlisberger's ability to extend a play and difficulty to bring down or Vick's ability to improvise and make big plays on the ground.

(And he finished 12th in completion percentage. Check the ESPN page
2011 NFL Player Passing Stats - National Football League - ESPN
Then NFL ranking is wrong. Alex Smith finished ahead of him by 4 tenths of a percentage point. The NFL doesn't have a good reputation for getting their facts straight.)

You might use other ways to determine what's important in a quarterback or you may just like view him threw red and black glasses, but..

Can you see how it's easy to say he's NOT in the top ten?
Yes. I could see that all along, but I still believe that he is top 10. Even if the Falcons spend ten years with him and we still can't get a playoff victory, I'm still going support him every single year a keep believing that this kid can take us places. I'm going to have faith in this guy no matter how many things you say he sucks at.

Not anymore. There's been reports all offseason that the Falcons are going to split his carries in half with our #2 back, JacQuizz Rodgers. He'll be getting 10-20 carries with Quizz. We're going to a pass first offense from now on.

if it helps them sleep at night call him top 10. hell call him top 5 for that matter. but just saying it dont make it so and and it wont help the falcons win any more games this year. call him whatever you want but its still performance that wins the games.

Rodgers, Brees, Brady, Manning, Manning, Roethlisberger, Romo, Stafford, Rivers, maybe Ryan. I've got no problem with it.

I think this Coordinator they got from Jacksonville is going to be worse than what they had.

Thats an example of why I think Rodgers is not as good as billed. McCarthy made Brooks look good because of the WR's which coincidentally we sent 3 WRs to the Pro Bowl I think it was 1 year, might of been that same year, Brooks never even made it despite having 30 TDS and 15 ints I think, something along those numbers.
